ENVIRONMENTAL INITIATIVES

Outing Center Vans are Carbon NeutralThis fall Outing Center vans traveled approximately 455 miles and were responsible for releasing 591.5 pounds of carbon. We are committed to minimizing our impact on the planet and we will purchase Renewable Energy Credits at the end of the academic year to offset our van usage. This policy will be continued throughout the spring semester. GREEN NDSU - Outing Center Tree PlantingThis coming spring the Outing Center will plant 4 trees for each of the trips that left the Fargo-Moorhead area this past fall semester. Look for the GREEN NDSU logo for all the trips that are included in this program. Recycled PaperOur catalogs are still printed on 100% post-consumer, chlorine-free, recycled paper. Thanks for helping to make the planet greener by participating in Outing Center Trips.
